To compliment the science timeline that was completed earlier, the English department at Ormiston Bushfield Academy in Peterborough, requested a similar idea.

This literature timeline covered a huge period from Greek Mythology to the modern day masterpieces. Each literary reference was designed and created from scratch to give the mural design a truly unique feel. In addition to the references to some of the most well known literary works, links were included that waved through the ages cross referencing and outlining the influences on the authors that ultimately inspired their work.

The design for the literatural timeline broke out of the main wall canvas area and included influences and references up onto the ceiling tiles.

As with the science timeline, students and staff use this 12 metre mural for reference and discussion and is a stunning educational addition to the impressive building.
